LEAVE THE PASTE ON FOR A WHILE
After receiving your henna design it will only take an hour or so for it to dry, but allow the paste to remain on your body for 4-12 hours (or as long as possible if you’re short on time.) If you received your henna design in the evening, then it’s recommended that you sleep in your henna paste for best results.

AVOID WATER
Avoid water for 24 hours after receiving your henna design. Even after you removed your paste, continue to avoid water until you reached your 24 hour mark. This will allow your stain to oxidate and darken.

USE COCONUT OIL
Use coconut oil to help you remove your paste more easily. Your stain will look like a bright pumpkin orange color once removed, but it will darken and fully mature at 72 hours. Also, adding coconut oil to your stain daily, or before showering or swimming, will help it last longer. (Olive oil or avocado oil can be substituted for coconut oil.)

BOOKINGS

Before You Book Your Appointment…

CERTAIN BODY PARTS STAIN BETTER
The hands and feet are popular with henna designs for a reason…they stain the best. The closer you move towards the core of your body, then the higher your chances are of your stain being lighter than the stains on your hands or feet.

PICK A GOOD TIME
Schedule a time that will allow you to relax for a couple of hours after your henna session. This will allow your paste to dry without the hassle of you rushing to the next thing you have on your “to-do” list. Also, if you wish to show off your henna for an event, then schedule your appointment at least 3 days before the event so the stain can be at its full maturity.
